You play as Botvinnik
You have the white pieces. Guess the moves one at a time: make the move you think Botvinnik made.
The same move as Botvinnik earns two points. A move Lavi thinks is about as good earns one. Otherwise you see what Botvinnik played, and the game goes on.
How the points work
- The move that was played in the game earns two points.
- Another move that Lavi, the strongest player in the house, thinks is about as good earns one point.
- Otherwise you see the move that was played, with the game's note if there is one, and what your move would have cost if Lavi sees that it was worse.
- The other side's moves play themselves. When you have only one legal move, it's played for you and doesn't count.
At the moves the game's notes talk about, you can ask who in the house would have found the move. Nothing is saved and nothing is shared: the game is yours for as long as the page is open.
