The rook moves straight, along files and ranks, and it goes a long way. Here you move it yourself: to stars, around obstacles and straight into some black pawns.

The rook moves straight: forward, backward and sideways, as far as it likes. The kings in the corners are only there because the rules need them. Leave them be.
