Four titles

In 2010 she won the knockout tournament in Antakya, Turkey, after a tiebreak against Ruan Lufei in the final. The following year she defended her title in a match against Koneru Humpy of India.

In 2012 she went out in the second round of a new knockout and lost the title, but in 2013 she won it back in a match against Anna Ushenina. In 2016 she won the title for a fourth time, in a match against Mariya Muzychuk. In her three title matches she won ten games and drew fourteen.

Matches only

Hou Yifan wanted the title to be decided in matches and felt that chance played too large a part in knockout tournaments. She did not take part in the knockouts of 2015 and 2017. In March 2015 she reached her highest rating, 2686.
